Prints of The Punjab: Reviving an ancient art form through Block Printing
Nestled in the heart of Punjab, where history and craft walk hand in hand, our block printing business celebrates the timeless beauty of handmade textiles. “Prints of the Punjab” isn't just a name—it’s a story, a movement, and a tribute to our roots.
The blocks we use are hand carved in India, we have some traditional motifs and some very modern ones for you to create unique textiles at a workshop.
we enjoyed meeting some of you at CoCoMAD @cocomad. It was a busy day but much fun was had. From the moment the festival got going we had children and their parents queuing to have a go at block printing as well as many adults. It was a delight to hear the gasps as patterns were revealed when the block was lifted. All the hard work felt worth it to see the joy.
We had some great conversations and possible workshops we may be able to run in schools, museums and birthday parties, as well as our regular workshops
we are looking forward to seeing you at the workshops listed on the website. If you'd like to attend a workshop near where you live look out for a suitable venue get a few friends interested and get in touch
